Wednesday was another exciting day. We went to school in the morning which usually goes by SUPER fast. Our maestra, Paola (I think that's how she spells it), is fabulosa! Seriously the best Spanish teacher ever! And I learn a lot from her.
After school we had quite an adventure going to another part of Zapopan to buy bus tickets. As students we can buy these tickets that make riding the bus 3 pesos instead of 6 pesos but it was SO freaking far away! We road the bus for quite awhile…which is a feat on it's own! The buses are like rides kind of. But cheaper I guess and more unpredictable ha ha. Then when we got there we walked around all these streets and we saw more the kind of Mexican streets that I had imagined we would see. We REALLY stuck out there. But we saw some really cool cathedrals and schools and stores! And it's way nice only paying half as much because we have to take the bus like 6 times a day.
Wednesday night we did something way fun! We went to the movies and saw Toy Story 3!! I guess Wednesday are like the sale day for movie tickets so it was cheaper. The movie was SOO freaking cute! It was in spanish, of course! And it was awesome because I understood pretty much all of it. I think cartoons are easier to follow than other movies and shows. I cried at the end…solo un pocito!
The best part about this movie theater was there AMAZING popcorn! Oh my it was SOO good! They carry like 4 types I think- Enchilada, acaramelado, light, and mantequilla. We had acaramelado and mantequilla. Oh it was heavenly! I also had some soda called Manzana Lift! Qué rico!
